The loop

Coffee
First thing, every morning, before anything else happens.
3D Printing
Multi-color prints, functional parts, and the occasional failed benchy. Most of what comes off the plate is there because something else on this page needed a bracket.
Electronics
The part where the software has to move something physical. A bug here doesn't throw a stack trace — it just sits there, not moving.
Smart Home
Home Assistant runs the house. If it plugs in, it gets automated — and every automation that survives contact with daily use ends up wanting a part that doesn't exist yet.
Off-loop
Gaming
Strategy games and city builders — the ones with systems worth learning. All of it on Linux, which makes Proton compatibility part of the buying decision.
